CHURCH WIDE

Operation Flip-Flop: TODAY. ALL LifeGroups church-wide will be switching hours, this includes Kids Ministry and Student Ministry. If your LifeGroup currently meets at the 9:30 hour, you will switch to the 11:00 hour and vice versa. As we continue to experience growth as a church, “Operation Flip-Flop” will free up more space for our first time guests during our 11:00 worship hour.

Midweek Kickoff: Wednesday, August 23, 6:30-8:00pm

Women: “Kingdom Women,” led by Jenny Rampy, Fellowship Hall, Cost $8

Men: “All Pro Dad,” led by Eric Davis, Equip Room, Cost $5

Adults: “How People Change,” led by Stephanie Alban, A204, Cost $15

Adults: “Financial Peace,” led by Blake Rogers, A207, Cost $100 per person/couple

Kid's Life: 2 yr – 6th grade in the Kid’s Building

Students: 7-12th grade, led by Kade Pierce in the Student Center

Compelled: College students and young singles, led by Joel Trevino, Bronco Room in Building G (Athletic Center)

Baptism & Life in Christ class, August 27 at 11:00am in Room A218. If you are an adult who is awaiting baptism, please consider attending the “Baptism & Life in Christ Class.” It will provide biblical insight into the significance of baptism by immersion as well as the marks of maturing in Christ. 

First Monday Prayer Meeting: First Monday of the month, at Noon in the Equip Conference Room on the second floor of the Preschool Building. Monday Prayer meeting will not meet in September due to the Labor Day Holiday.

CONNECTIONS MINISTRY:

Got a Need/Got a Skill? Whether you are in need of assistance or can provide assistance, please visit the Common Needs page on our website at www.bayarea.church/commonneeds. We are mobilizing our church body to serve "common needs" both in our church and our community.

SENIOR ADULTS:

Senior Connection - Thursday, September 7, 10:30am in Student Center Café. Potluck luncheon for our Senior Adults who are 55 yrs. and older. Senior Connections meets every first and third Thursday of the month for devotionals, fellowship and activities.

Senior Adult Ladies Luncheon will meet at LaBrisa Mexican restaurant on the Creek Mexican restaurant on I-45 & N. Wesley Dr. in League City, August 28 at 11:30am. RSVP by August 27 with Kitty Ferguson at 281-678-5680.

Students:

Student Midweek starts back up on Wednesday, August 23, 6:30-8:00 pm. We will meet out in the front field.

Kidmin:

KidMin Promotion Sunday is TODAY!

Parents and Grandparents - Here's a look at the NEW schedule for birth-6th grade kids on Sunday mornings.

Birth-4 year-old children have LifeGroups at 9:30 and 11.

  • Babies - Toddlers are in Young Preschool (A Building) next to the Worship Center
  • 2’s - 4’s LifeGroups are in the H Building  

Kindergarten Kids will have Life Groups at 9:30 and a NEW Worship Service just for “Kinder Kids” at 11:00 - both in the H Building.

1st - 4th grade Kids schedule:

  • 9:30 - 252 Worship Servicein the Fellowship Hall
  • 11:00 - Life Groups in the C Building

5th & 6th Grades have LifeGroup opportunities at 9:30 and 11:00. They choose LifeGroup one hour and worship with their parents the opposite hour.

Worship:

Worship Choir Rehearsal: Worship Choir rehearsals will resume on September 6. We will meet on the first Wednesday of every month in the Green Room, beginning at 7pm. Anyone can attend Worship Choir Rehearsal, but you must be a member to lead from the platform.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:

Tech Arts Associate needed for our Worship and Tech Arts team. The position will work approximately 28 hours per week. The position will serve and assist with the technical execution of worship services, productions and special events held at Bay Area Church and Bay Area Christian School.
