Church Offices will be closed Monday, Sept 6, for Labor Day Holiday.

Midweek Kickoff: Wednesday, 6:30-8:00pm

Women: “The Armor of God” by Priscilla Shirer, led by Tracey Wolverton, in the Fellowship Hall.  All-day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory. Cost $10

Men: “Growing Up” by Robby Gallaly,  led by Bill Black, in Room 207.  Growing Up takes the guesswork out of growing closer to the Lord and equipping others to do the same. It provides you with an interactive manual and resource for creating and working with discipleship groups, allowing you to gain positive information both for yourself and for others as you learn how to help others become better disciples for Christ. Cost $10

Adults: “James” by Matt Chandler, led by Max Tucker, in Room 205.  The Book of James is filled with practical wisdom for Christians, calling us to live out genuine faith through good works, but it is also rooted in rich theology. This 13-session study by Matt Chandler examines the core message of James: the relationship between faith and works. Cost $10

Kid Classes are available from birth-5th grade.  Please complete the Kids Classes Registration form if they will be attending.

Family Comedy Night: Join us Saturday, September 18, at 6pm, as comedian Jason Earls shares a refreshing brand of humor that inspires and encourages us.  Cost is $10. You can purchase your tickets at bayarea.church/events.  You don’t want to miss this event!

Annual Bay Area Senior Adult Luncheon – Sunday, Sept 12. The Deacons will serve a complimentary lunch to all senior adults 65 years or older following the 11:00am service, in the Fellowship Hall.

Israel Less Strenuous Tour: Register to attend the Israel trip, Nov 28-Dec 9, 2021 that is designed to be “less strenuous.” The vision is to invest in our spiritual mothers and fathers and other pilgrims who have always wanted to go but did not want the difficult hikes. Enjoy the same teaching, most of the same sites, and the same rich experience with God. You will study the Biblical Text in context, and it will change you.
