STUDENT MISSION TRIPS

Junior High Mission Trip

July 9-13, 2018

Galveston, TX

Cost:  $150.00 per person

Price includes all meals, housing, transportation costs, and Schlitterbahn ticket

Attendance limit:  30 (including adults)

Junior High students will be returning to Galveston this year to serve alongside Galveston Urban Ministries.  We partner with GUM because we believe they are a ministry in the 4B area that is impacting people with the gospel of Jesus Christ through hands-on service, relentless love, and strategic Kingdom partnerships.  Students will spend time serving the inner city areas through street camp and work projects.

This trip is available to all students who are currently in or recently completed 7th or 8th grade. Space is limited to 30 participants. In order to secure your spot, you must complete ALL of the following:

  • Register online
  • Pay a $75.00 deposit or full amount
  • Fill out and turn in GUM release form
  • Fill out and turn in Bay Area student mission application
  • Fill out and turn in Bay Area 2018 medical release form, if not already on file

High School Mission Trip

July 21-28, 2018

Boston, MA

Cost:  $600.00 per person

Price includes all meals in Boston, airfare, housing, and transportation costs

You will need money for dinner in the airport each way.

Attendance limit:  45 (including adults)

High School students are returning to Boston this year to serve alongside church planters and established ministries in the greater Boston area.  We partner with those ministries because we believe their work is imperative for the gospel to move forward in the Northeast and that by partnering with them we can “lift up the hands” of those on the front lines of gospel ministry in the Northeast.  Students will spend time leading a sports camp and Vacation Bible School, community evangelism, and service projects.

This trip is available to all students who are currently in or recently completed 9th-12th grades.  Space is limited to 45 participants.  In order to secure your spot, you must complete ALL of the following:

  • Register online
  • Pay a $100.00 deposit or full amount
  • Have one Bay Area student reference form returned to the Student Ministry

office.  This cannot be filled out by a family member.  You must have two forms returned by July 1, but one is required to hold your spot.

  • Fill out and turn in Bay Area student mission application
  • Fill out and turn in Bay Area 2018 medical release form, if not already on file

We will have a parent/student informational meeting about mission trips on Sunday, March 25, at 12:15 pm

in the Student Center. Registration for all summer trips will open on Monday, March 26.
