This Weekend at Bay Area & Important Updates
Hello Church!

I hope you are having a great week!  What an exciting and eventful week as our nation is still in the process of determining our next President. We may not know the results, but one thing we do know is that regardless of the outcome, Jesus is still King! His promises and our calling as citizens of His Kingdom are the same. I pray that His people will seek Him first during these days and that God will use us to bring His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven!

This Sunday we are pausing our Kingdom First series and leading a special service to commemorate Veteran’s Day that we are calling: “Veteran’s Day: A Story of Hope.” Pastor Brian will be joined by some special guests who will be sharing their story of hope and transformation found in Jesus Christ. This will be a an important day as we honor our veterans and listen to an encouraging word about the faithfulness, power, love, and hope of Jesus. Help us spread the word about this weekend and invite someone to join you either in person or on line.

Don’t forget to pick-up your Operation Christmas Child boxes this weekend. This incredible ministry is not just about giving children all across the world a gift, it’s about helping them see how much Jesus loves them and leading them to find hope and salvation in Him. Need a box?  Want more information? Ready to return your filled box? Stop by one of the information tables in the lobby of our main building this Sunday. All boxes are due no later than November 22nd.

Let me also share some news from our ministry Bay Area Christian School. Mrs. Melissa Hale, one of our longest tenured leaders will be retiring this January. For 26 years of her 31-year tenure at Bay Area Christian School, Mrs. Hale has been our Weekday Preschool Director and Early Learning Academy Director. Over these years she has led our preschool to be a vibrant and impactful ministry to kids and families in our community. Not only have those parents and children found the preschool to be a rich learning opportunity under Melissa’s direction, but they have always been shown and taught a primary focus – to seek first the Kingdom of God. She will be taking time. Please join me in thanking her for her many years of faithful service and wishing her the best as she dedicates her days to spending time with her grandkids! If you see her around, please extend your thanks!

Have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing you Sunday!

Blessings,

Pastor Zac
