1. Why do you think the gospel of Jesus disturbed the religious leaders and the Roman authority? How might the gospel of Jesus still challenge the status quo in our culture today?
2. Peter boldly declared that healing and salvation only come in the authority of the name of Jesus. How can we make sure that our own lives and decisions show that Jesus is our true authority?
3. The Sanhedrin and priestly aristocracy were astonished by the boldness of Peter and John as ordinary men. What does this tell us about the difference the Holy Spirit makes in our witness?
4. Where do you see resistance to the message of Jesus in your world? School, work, media, relationships, etc.? What would Holy Spirit boldness look like for you in that setting?
