Mission Trips

We glorify God by making disciples, equipping families, and serving the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are committed to the spread of the gospel by sacrifically serving the world, that they may see the beauty of the gospel more clearly. Jesus selflessly served for the good of others and, learning from His example, we are committed to giving, going, and serving in our circles so that others will know Him.

CURRENT MISSION TRIPS

the 4B Area

We identify our local mission field as the “4B Area.”

From Beltway 8 to the north, Galveston Beach to the south, Brazoria County to the west and the Bay to the east; we recognize there are hundreds of thousands of our neighbors who need to know and experience the grace of Jesus Christ. Rather than simply inviting them to visit our church campus in League City, our focus is to go to them with the gospel.

Common Needs

Common Needs is the benevolence ministry of Bay Area that assists members and non-members with financial and physical common needs. It is our desire that our members receive exceptional care when they encounter hardship and are unable to provide adequate care for themselves.  Although priority will be given to church members, we want to extend compassion to those in our community who have similar needs and respond when able.

We want to mobilize the members of Bay Area who have skills, talents and the passion to provide hands-on service to those most in need.  We want to challenge the church as a whole to financially support such efforts but want to encourage those who receive assistance to participate with dignity and to have the opportunity to serve others in turn.

Assistance will range from simple financial provision to extensive construction projects and everywhere in between.  We also want to provide basic financial training to assist people in breaking the cycle of poverty and constant financial stress.

You can request assistance or volunteer below.

Blessing the Bay Area

Blessing the Bay Area is a yearly mission opportunity that takes place on a Sunday morning. On this Sunday, our church is in the community, in action, serving the world with gospel of Jesus Christ. We work doing everything from feeding the hungry to building new shelters, and ministering to passers-by. This opportunity is organized through our LifeGroups and happens each spring.
