Title: rest for Your Soul

Text: Matthew 11:25-30

1. As we enter a new year, what are some changes or habits you’ve thought about making—and how did today’s sermon challenge you to commit to pursue Jesus in a more intentional way in the new year?

2. Jesus specifically invites the weary and burdened to come to Him. In what areas of your life do you currently feel tired, overwhelmed, or stretched thin?

3. What’s the difference between physical rest (sleep, hobbies, downtime) and the “rest for your soul” Jesus promises? What do you think it practically looks like to find rest in Jesus?

4. We can all relate with this–busyness can keep us from slowing down to spend time with God. What tends to distract you most from spending time with Him?

5. How does knowing that Jesus is “gentle and lowly” at His core encourage you in your walk with Jesus?

6. If someone asked you what Jesus meant when He said, “My yoke is easy and My burden is light” how would you explain it?

7. What is one encouragement or challenge from today that you want to carry with you into 2026?
