The Weekly for 11/17/2024

November 17, 2024

Operation Christmas Child
The Samaritan's Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts filled with fun
toys, school supplies and hygiene items—and delivers them to children in need around the
world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. For many of these children, the gift-filled
shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.
Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, has
collected and delivered more than 220 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 170
countries and territories. Look for the Operation Christmas Child Table in the foyer starting Oct
13-Nov 17, 2024. Church office will not accept any boxes after Nov 17.

COLLIDE 2025
Collide is our student discipleship weekend designed for all 6th-12th graders, and will be held on
our campus January 17-19, 2025. It is a time for students to pull away from the craziness of life
and worship God through song, hear from His word, and process all of that in a small group
setting. It is a weekend packed with opportunities to have fun, make friends, and meet with
God. What is unique about Collide is that it is a collaboration of multiple churches across the 4B
area. It allows everyone to see that although they attend different churches, they can gather
as one to worship the one, true God.
Collide 2025 will focus on Jesus' rule and reign over every part of our lives, our culture, and His
creation. He is greater than any person, any idea, and anything. Therefore, He is worthy of our
everything. The cost for the weekend is $75. Registration is now open at bayarea.church/collide.
