Email Standards
All emails will now be standardized and should use the following settings:
- Arial font or Sanserif
- 12pt or normal size
- Black
Your signature block should look exactly like the one below. Copy and paste this signature into your signature block creator, then change out the information for yours.
Mac-Mail Instructions
- Open your mail. In the upper menu bar click ‘mail’ then ‘preferences’.
- Under ‘Signatures’, select the account you wish to add this signature to.
- Click the + button and paste the signature in the open white box.
- Replace the contact info for your own.
- Under ‘fonts & colors’ change the fonts to Arial 12pt. black.
GMail Instructions
- Open your mail. Click gear icon at upper-right. Choose “Settings”
- On the “General” tab, scroll down to “Signature”
- Paste the signature in the open white box.
- Replace the contact info for your own.
- Scroll down to bottom of page and click “Save Changes”
Outlook Online Instructions
- Open your mailbox. In the upper right corner click the ‘settings’ button, then click ‘mail’.
- On the left side of the screen under ‘layout’ click on ’email signature’.
- Copy and paste the signature into the text box
- Change the information to yours and click save.
- Again, under ‘layout’ click ‘message format’.
- Change the message font to Arial 12pt black.
- Change the dropdown to ‘Compose messages in HTML’ text format.
- Click save.
Outlook Desktop Instructions
- Open your mailbox. In the upper left corner click the ‘Outlook’ menu button, then click ‘preferences’.
- Select ‘signatures’, then select the ‘standard’ signature block and click ‘edit’.
- Paste the signature into the text box, change the information to yours and click save.
- Change your default signature, and include the signature in reply emails.
- Back inside the ‘preferences’ menu, click ‘fonts’.
- Change all the message fonts to Arial, Regular, 12pt black.
- Back inside the ‘preferences’ menu, click ‘composing’, and select the HTML tab.
- Check the ‘Compose messages in HTML by defalt’ box.
- Close (it will save by itself).
