Hi Bay Area Family,
This weekend our students from Bay Area (200+) will join 6 other churches for a discipleship weekend called Collide. Tonight and tomorrow more than 700 teenagers will gather in our worship center to hear from God and worship Him. Will you pray for them? Ask God to speak to each one in a way they can hear. Pray for healing of wounds, salvation from sin, and deepening relationships with Jesus.
Sunday, we will continue in our series called “Origins” focusing on the creation of humanity in Genesis 2:4-25. We will look at the biblical account of creation and consider the general evolutionary view science. This message is very important. I can’t wait to be together to worship and hear from our Creator.
As you may know, we have been in a season of leadership transition within Living Water, our biblical counseling ministry on campus at Bay Area Church. We, as leadership, have been praying and working hard to determine the next step when it comes to leadership for Living Water. I am excited to bring this important announcement to you.
Beginning immediately, Ron Holt will be stepping in to serve as the Interim Director for Living Water. Ron currently serves as an Elder at Bay Area Church and is a trained and active counselor within Living Water. He brings many years of organizational leadership and management experience as well as spiritual maturity, knowledge of scripture, and the ability to apply this biblical insight to life. Ron will be serving in a part-time, volunteer staff role. Please join me in praying for Ron and welcoming him to the day to day work of our ministry staff.
