This weekend you will have the opportunity to meet Charles Pulliam, his wife Jenee, and their family as Charles comes in view of call as Chief Executive Officer for Bay Area Church and Christian School. Meet and Greet with the Pulliam’s – Saturday night from 6:00-7:30 PM in the commons space of Bay Area Church. It is a come and go event so swing by when you have a chance.
Vote of affirmation – Sunday morning 9:30 and 11:00. You will be able to hear from Charles on Sunday morning in both worship services. Mike Pyburn, will bring the recommendation from the Elders to call Charles Pulliam to this important leadership role in our ministry. Members will have the opportunity to vote for congregational approval. I am really thankful to God for leading us to Charles Pulliam.
On a more personal note, Friday at 11:00 AM I will be conducting the funeral services for Cynthia Tisdale who was murdered in the Santa Fe school shootings. Please pray for the family. Ask God to usher in peace and hope in the midst of terrible grief. Also pray that I have the wisdom to apply the gospel really clearly in this moment.
