Dear Church,
It is with great excitement that I share with you that Charles Pulliam and family will be with us May 26 and 27 in view of call for the role of Chief Executive Officer for Bay Area Church and Christian School upon recommendation of the elders.
Charles Pulliam will be joining the staff of Bay Area Church and Christian School as the Chief Executive Officer on July 30, 2018 pending church affirmation on May 27. Charles and his wife, Jenee, have three children. Daniel, their eldest son, lives in Katy, TX. Their son Everett is a high school senior who will be attending Austin College in Sherman, TX in the fall. Everett will be playing football for Austin College, fulfilling one of his life-long dreams. Their daughter Addie Jo is a junior in high school, and is an avid soccer player.
Charles earned his Bachelor of Business degree from LeTourneau University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Non-Profit Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. Charles is also a military veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. Charles has over 15 years of strong business leadership background that includes both non-profit and private sector strategic planning, human capital management, leadership development, fund development, and mission advancement strategy. He has also been instrumental in connecting business leaders and church leaders in his community through various volunteer leadership efforts and has written curriculum for a leadership training course for adults. He is coming to us from his most recent position as the Chief Development Officer of Life School of Dallas, a non-profit charter school that focuses on education that is infused with leadership development. Charles has worked for Life School for the past 7 years, starting his career there as Director of Human Resources, and moving quickly into the position of Chief Development Officer.
Charles has a passion for reaching others with the gospel of Jesus Christ and feels a call of God on his life to use his skills and abilities to assist Bay Area Church with our mission and vision of reaching the 4B area and beyond with that gospel message. Currently, Charles, Jenee and their kids worship and serve at The Avenue Church in Waxahachie, Texas.
You are invited on May 26, to attend a come and go reception for Charles and family in the Commons Space at Bay Area from 6:00-7:30 PM. On Sunday, May 27, you will have the opportunity to hear from Charles in both the 9:30 and 11:00 AM worship services and to vote, affirming and as the last step in the process, approving his call.
