Dear Bay Area Family,
I hope this week finds you walking in the grace and peace of Jesus. I am looking forward to gathering with you Sunday for worship and LifeGroups. Our Text for Sunday is Genesis 9 as we continue our Origins series. We will discover 3 visible signs God gives us so we will remember His promises to us. I am excited to walk through these with you. We will have a very special time of Communion (Lord’s Supper) during the response time at each worship service. Come expecting to bless the Lord with worship and hear from Him through His Word by His Spirit.
Aly Nickerson Reception: This Sunday after the 11:00 worship service we will honor our Girls Minister, Aly Nickerson with a reception in the lobby. She and Andrew adopted a sweet baby girl and decided it is best for Aly to stay home full-time. We are excited for the Nickersons and we are thankful for Aly’s service. Aly, Andrew, and Josie will still be worshipping and serving at Bay Area, just not in the staff role of Girls Minister. This isn’t goodbye, just a change in season for the Nickersons. Join us.
Pray for Purity 4 Life Weekend: Many of our students and their parents will be participating in “Purity 4 Life” this weekend. We will be discussing the importance of biblical purity and biblical sexuality and how to live it out in the current culture. Both parents and students will make important commitments. Would you pray for these teenagers and their families?
