Title: Neighboring Like Jesus
Text: Luke 5:27-32
Pull out the neighborhood map that you received in worship. If you don’t have access to the card, access it on our Bay Area Church App. Remember that neighboring is a journey that looks a lot like this:
STRANGER – ACQUAINTANCE – RELATIONSHIP
Identify the names of each neighbor of the 8 closest homes to your own. By each name identify them with an (S) for stranger, an (A) for acquaintance, or an (R) for relationship. Make a plan for how you can get to know each neighbor better in order to move one step forward in the journey of neighboring. Pray for each neighbor by name specially interceding for any need that you know they may have. Ask God to give you love and compassion for each neighbor.
