Dear Church,
This Sunday we are excited to gather and worship Jesus. Our Text is Ephesians 5:1-21. As I studied this week first for me, then for you, I heard from the Lord. I am so grateful He speaks by His Spirit through His Word. He has an important message for you this weekend.
Two Important Events Coming Up:
1) Resurrection Weekend: (March 30-April1)
March 30 – Good Friday Service 7 PM – A very meaningful worship gathering to remember the crucifixion of Jesus. We will take the Lord’s Supper together.
April 1 – Resurrection Celebration 8:30, 9:45, and 11. – We will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus and how that changes everything. The gospel will be clear and you will see a video story of life transformation from one of our own, Carla Jackson. Easter Sunday will be a wonderful celebration of the resurrected Lord Jesus and his power to take our old lives and make them completely new. Invite the people in your circles who desperately need that message of hope.
2) Women’s Event – Overcoming Loss with Angela Haynes and Leslie Westfall
April 9 6:30 – 8:00 PM in the worship center.
Everyone experiences loss at some level. We are excited to gather the women of the community to enjoy each other and talk about how to overcome loss. This event is for every woman ages 12 and up and it is open to the public. This is a very safe environment for any woman from any background. We will share the hope of Christ and principles for overcoming loss. Register online here for the event.
Finally, Eight Days of Hope, is wrapping up this weekend. Thank you to all of you who served. I will share the exciting results with you on Sunday.
