Gather the family, find a quiet place alone, and read Luke 15:11-32.

1) In the parable, the father is a picture of God; His very character and nature. Based on this parable, describe God by making observations about the father in the parable.

2) How does your relationship with your own father color your view of God?

3) The lost son in the parable is a picture of you and me. What do we learn that we should expect of God our father when we come to him with our sin?
