Happy Friday Bay Area Family!
Sunday we will start a new series called Exodus: Coming Out of Bondage Into Promise. I’ll be your guide as we explore the pages of Scripture and find ourselves in ancient Egypt. It is from there, in the Land of Goshen, we will learn from the Israelites about what it means to believe God’s promises and follow Him into freedom. Read Exodus 1 before Sunday and ask God to speak to you.
You know, all of us face issues of slavery and bondage. We might not be enslaved to an Egyptian Pharaoh, but clearly we were in the past or are in the present, enslaved to sin. Each week as we study Exodus we will learn a freedom principle helping us take an important next step in our own journey from bondage into promise.
This Sunday our students will be leading the musical part of our worship service. We will take some time in our services to pray for our children and students as they go back to school.
On August 25th we are going to have a special time of prayer for all educators from any and every school in our region. If you know teachers, coaches, administrators, or counselors, invite them to join us Sunday the 25th as we thank them for their investment in the next generation and pray for them.
