Scripture reminds us to “…give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Sometimes life makes it easy to be thankful. Other times it’s more difficult. As we enter this Thanksgiving Day, let us remember the importance of this verse and it’s call to be thankful…in all circumstances. When life’s events or our emotions don’t make giving thanks easy, let us never forget that we can always give thanks to a God who loves us so much that he sent his son, Jesus, so we can experience his unconditional love, forgiveness, and hope no matter our circumstances!
