We will offer a time of prayer on Feb. 20, and Feb. 27, from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Worship Center to pray with you about the issues that you are dealing with in your life. Elders and their wives will be available to pray with you one-on-one.

MISSIONS

Sunday – Interest Meeting for Summer Middle East Mission Trips: If you are a member of Bay Area Church and interested in joining us for one of three mission trips this summer to the Middle East, there will be a brief “Interest Meeting” Sunday immediately following the 11:00am worship service. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall. Michel Sawan, our point man in the Middle East, will be in attendance. BOSTON FAMILY MISSION TRIP:  Families and Single Adults interested in joining us for our first-ever “Family Mission Trip” to Boston, July 6-13, please attend an “Information Meeting” on Sunday, March 3 immediately following the 11:00am worship service. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall and provide details as they exist at present. For more info, contact John Eckeberger at (713) 628-2453 or john.eckeberger@bayarea.church.

SENIOR ADULTS

Senior Connection: February 21, at 10:30am, in the Student Center Café. Potluck luncheon for our Senior Adults who are 55 years and older. Senior Connection meets every first and third Thursday of the month for devotionals, fellowship, and activities.

STUDENTS

Student Midweek: Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 pm in the Student Center.

Purity4Life: Saturday, February 23, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, in the Student Center.  This Milestone 4 celebration for students and parents emphasizes the importance of accountability, healthy friendships, and biblical standards for purity.  More information and registration can be found at www.bayarea.church/purity4life. KIDMIN

Sunday morning Young Preschool Team Members Needed NOW!: We are growing in Sunday Older Toddlers and almost ready to open Young 2s LifeGroups at 9:30 and 11:00. We are looking for team members to invest time and love in our “Littles”. We want to staff well so that class time is fruitful.  In addition, we are looking for Super Subs to support Sunday KidMin with short term commitments. Help us move forward by responding to serve: https://bayarea.church/go/.

VBS 2019:  “IN THE WILD” – Volunteer Registration is OPEN NOW! We would like to recruit 225 Leaders by April 15. As of 2/12/19 we have 113 Volunteers registered. Seventh Grade Students through Adults – help us prepare well – and well ahead of time by registering now to serve at VBS. All the details can be found at https://bayarea.church/vbs. SAVE THE DATE for our Friday, April 26 “VBS All Staff Meeting.” This important time of connection and training will take place in the Kids Theater from 7:00-9:00pm

VBS (Vacation Bible School) is Mon-Fri, June 10-14; 9:00am-noon; for kids entering Kindergarten (August ’19) – completed 6th grade (’18-’19 school year). We also provide classes for children, birth-4 years, of VBS Leaders.  VBS is 3 hours of learning, singing, dancing, and having fun with friends, while learning about scripture, and what our Great God has done for us through His son, Jesus Christ. Registration for Kids (Learners) opens in April.
