Lord’s Supper: Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper during both morning services.

Mighty Oaks Outpost Group Weekly Meeting: Monday, July 22, from 6:30-8:00pm in the Equip Room. This group is open to all local veterans, active duty servicemen, and Mighty Oaks Program Alumni.

First Monday Prayer Meeting: August 5, at Noon, in the Equip Conference Room, on the second floor of the Preschool Building.

New City Catechism: We’re posting one question and answer, with commentary by one of our pastors or leaders, each week for 2019. Our hope is that you will take the time each week to memorize these questions and answers in an effort to strengthen your biblical knowledge and to “always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1 Peter 3:15). Israel Less Strenuous Tour: Register to attend the Israel trip, December 1-12, 2019, that is designed to be “less strenuous.” The vision is to invest in our spiritual mothers and fathers and other pilgrims who have always wanted to go but did not want the difficult hikes. MISSION

First Saturday Serve: In cooperation with the 4B Disaster Response Network, the next First Saturday Serve is coming up on August 3. Consider joining other area churches as we assist families still dealing with the destruction of Hurricane Harvey over 19 months ago. For more info and to register to volunteer, go to:  www.4bresponse.org.

SENIOR ADULTS

Senior Connection: Thursday, August 1, at 10:30am, in the Student Center Café. Potluck luncheon for our Senior Adults who are 55 years and older. Senior Connection meets every first and third Thursday of the month for devotionals, fellowship, and activities.

KIDMIN

The KidMin Team is coming to you with lots of great ways to serve in KidMin. It takes a large team of committed Leaders to serve families well. We have a table set up TODAY  in the Common Space and are prepared to answer questions and find the right place to match your gifts and talents! Stop by and see how you can partner with us and invest in this ministry.  Promotion Sunday is August 18.
