New City Catechism: We’re posting one question and answer, with commentary by one of our pastors or leaders, each week for 2019. Our hope is that you will take the time each week to memorize these questions and answers in an effort to strengthen your biblical knowledge and to “always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1 Peter 3:15). To follow along with us visit www.bayarea.church/qna.

Israel Less Strenuous Tour: Register to attend the Israel trip, December 1-12, 2019, that is designed to be “less strenuous.” The vision is to invest in our spiritual mothers and fathers and other pilgrims who have always wanted to go but did not want the difficult hikes. Enjoy the same teaching, most of the same sites, and the same rich experience with God. You will study the Biblical Text in context, and it will change you. Register at https://legacymilestones.com/event/2019-israel-study-tour/.

ServeLink: The TOP FOUR ways we’re asking you to serve on Sunday mornings: Kids, Students, Connections, and Tech Arts. To find out more about how you can serve in one of these areas you can go to www.bayarea.church/go, or download the Bay Area Church app and click serve.

KIDMIN

Bible Presentation: On Sunday, September 15 we will present kids in First grade with a New Bible during our 9:30am 252 Kids worship in the Kids Theater. Parents are welcome to attend. Following 252 Kids, we escort 1st graders to the Worship Center where they will be acknowledged as a group prior to the 11:00am service. August 25 is the deadline to email kidmin@bayarea.church and reserve a bible for your child.

Champion’s Cub News: We had a successful opening day in our 2 Champion’s Club Classrooms! The Teaching and  Sensory/Motor rooms were fully utilized by 6 children, 6 buddies, 1 teacher and Director, Susan Wollam. On Sunday, we were able to support kids in these new rooms and also in their LifeGroups. We are so grateful for those who prayed over this ministry and those who gave to make the dream a reality. Now that the rooms are open, we need to be sure we provide one-on-one staffing at 9:30 and 11. We are also looking for another teacher to serve at 9:30 and an assistant to train with Susan Wollam. Men are needed, especially during the 2nd service. If you are interested in serving with Champion’s Club or have a child who would benefit from this ministry, please email cherie.niscavits@bayarea.church. Please allow us the privilege to serve your family in this way! Champion’s Club is for children, 4 years – 6th grade who would benefit from one-on-one support.
