CHURCH WIDE:
Bay Area Church members will vote to approve and ordain Elder candidates at 9:30am and 11:00am on September 16 in both worship services. All candidates were presented at the Bay Area Family gathering in April 2018, after a full year of training and testing. We, the elders, received inquiries concerning the candidates and answered each inquiry. For another look at their biographies please visit www.bayarea.church/elders. The church bylaws require a secret ballot vote, resulting in 85% in the affirmative, for congregational approval.

SENIOR ADULTS:
Senior Connection: Thursday, September 20, at 10:30am in the Student Center Café. Potluck luncheon for our Senior Adults who are 55 years and older. Senior Connection meets every first and third Thursday of the month for devotionals, fellowship, and activities.
Senior Adult Galveston Trip: Senior Adults are going to the Sunflower Bakery/Café in Galveston. Thursday, September 27 from 10am-2:30pm. The Bus will leave from the BAC Athletic parking lot sharply at 10:00am. Come enjoy some good food and great fellowship with other Senior adults. If you are interested in going, please sign up in your LifeGroup, by September 23.

KIDMIN:
BIBLE PRESENTATION: On Sunday, September 16 – our 1st Grade Kids will receive a NEW Bible. We will present the bibles at the beginning of “252 Kids” Worship in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30am. Parents are invited to attend (and may leave after the presentation). In addition, the kids will be acknowledged as a group in the minutes prior to the 11am service. If you would like your child to be a part of this presentation, please email kidmin@bayarea.church by Monday, September 10. We are happy to partner with you as you disciple your children using God’s Word. We hope this is a memorable day for your family.

ADULT WORKERS NEEDED SUNDAY MORNINGS – SERVING WITH KIDS HAVING SPECIAL NEEDS: Bay Area Church KidMin desires to minister to all children and their families. We are looking for willing hearts to serve children with special needs on Sunday Mornings. Currently, we partner a buddy to accompany the child in a classroom. In the near future, we will have 2 specially equipped “Champion’s Club” classrooms, to minister more effectively to kids through 6th Grade. You don’t have to be professionally educated as a special needs teacher to be a buddy (or serve in Champion’s Club), but those of you with this training would be extremely helpful to our ministry.
