This Sunday, August 9 we will gather for IN PERSON worship services at 9:00 and 10:30 AM and we will continue our ONLINE services at 9:00, 10:30, and 5:00 PM.  WE WILL BE RE-GATHERING IN 3 PHASES…

Phase #1: In Person Worship Services (August 2 and 9)

  • Gathering in-person and online at 9:00am and 10:30am. Online only service at 5:00pm. 
  • No KidMin, StuMin, or groups on campus. 
  • Masks required for all attendees 10 and older.  

Phase #2:  In Person Worship services and KidMin through 4 years (August 16 through September 6)

  • Gathering in-person and online at 9:00am and 10:30am. Online only service at 5:00pm. 
  • KidMin classes available for birth – 4’s. 
  • Masks required for all attendees 10 and older. 

Phase #3: In person services plus KidMin, Student Ministry, Adult LifeGroups (September 13 and following)

  • September 13th – Gathering in person and online. Times TBD. 
  • KidMin (Preschool – 5th Grade), Student Ministry, and Adult LifeGroups meeting on campus.

Living Water Course #1 – Interested in becoming a Biblical Counselor? Want to know more of applying the Bible to the challenges and struggles in our life and the lives of others? Our Living Water Biblical Counseling ministry is hosting its Level 1 Certification course beginning this fall. This 9-month course will train and equip students in the foundational skills and understanding of biblical counseling. This class partners with the Association of Biblical Counseling through interactive class sessions,  videos, readings, projects, and more. Living Water Course #1 is the first step in becoming a biblical counselor with Living Water. For more information on questions, please email Julie Hutchinson at julie.hutchinson@bayarea.church.

We will be offering a virtual Baptism & Life in Christ Class on Wednesday, August 12 at 6:30pm. Our next scheduled baptism will be on Wednesday, August 19 at 7pm. You can sign up for either of these at www.bayarea.church/baptism.

Church on Your Street: One way that you can partner with us to saturate the 4B area with the Gospel during this time is by taking the opportunity to pray for, love, and serve those closest to you…the people that live on your street. How can we do this? You can bring Church on Your Street. Go to www.bayarea.church/live and click on the Church on Your Street button. There, you will find a simple but powerful plan for how you can pray for your street, support your street, serve your street, and be Jesus to your street! Find helpful resources, ways to connect with others who are answering the call, share with us where you are focusing your efforts and begin the journey of bringing Church on Your Street.

KIDMIN

KIDMIN PROMOTION PLANS: Our 2020-2021 Promotion Planning is a bit more challenging this year – due to the effects of the CoronaVirus. However, we are excited to be reopening on campus (and continuing online options)! We want to launch a successful program – but also expect to adjust as needed.  Even though difficult sometimes, change can be exciting – especially when it comes to Kids!  They bring their own level of excitement and anticipation!

Please make note of KidMin Age group Changes:

  • Preschool: Birth – 4 years of age (or 5 but not entering kindergarten)—Will start again Sunday, August 16 (Preschool Promotion)
  • School Age: Kindergarten – 5th Grades — Will start again Sunday, September 13 with “252 Kids” (Worship and LifeGroup Combo); Kids attend one hour of 252 Kids and the other hour with parents in worship.
  • 6th Grade Kids will now be a part of Student Ministry (StuMin).

We are looking forward to welcoming NEW KidMin Team members to the Sunday Staff!  Please consider partnering with us to provide awesome classes for kids – to build relationships and grow in the knowledge of God’s love and perfect plan for their lives.
